PTW Registration Skyrockets with Purchase of 500 Tickets!

Lloyd International Honors College of the University of North Carolina, Greensboro (UNCG) has embraced Performing the World 2024 (PTW).

Recognizing the benefit that attending Performing the World will have for attendees, the UNCG’s Honors College has registered over 500 students, and additional faculty members and staff for the unique conference/festival founded in 2001.

Under the leadership of Dean Omar Ali, the college has had a sustained history with PTW and its growing play and performance movement. Dr. Lois Holzman, the co-founder and convener of PTW is the college’s Distinguished Visiting Fellow in Vygotskian Practice and Performance, and the college is co-sponsor, with the East Side Institute, of Let’s Learn! a free online global learning-teaching community.

“We’re very excited to welcome Lloyd International Honors College to Performing the World,” Holzman said. “It dramatically increases the cross-generational, multi-cultural, and cross-disciplinary nature of our global gathering and community. It’s an inspiration to our International Organizing Committee to continue to accelerate its outreach all around the world.”
